Mr. Rafael Camacho Jr., of Harvey, Illinois, is currently a senior with a double-major in Spanish and Political Science, with a concentration in Law and Power, and a minor in Philosophy.

As a first-generation college student, person of color, and a member of an immigrant family, Mr. Camacho understands the need to provide resources to students facing adversity. As a student trustee he plans to advocate for his peers by concentrating on student resources and support in times of uncertainty. He would like to see advances made to provide adequate monetary packages to make college more affordable; to provide an immigration facility for undocu/DACAmented students; and to refocus resources to our academic departments to provide a well-rounded education for our students.
